Est. 1972
Back in 1972, Sonny and Colleen Brester opened the doors to their new bike shop on the corner of 5th and Overland. About 10 years later, they landed at our current location. Sonny and Colleen sold the shop to their son, JR in about 2005. Today, JR and his family continue to follow in their footsteps continuing on their legacy.

Robidoux Rendezvous
Roubidoux Rendezvous is Western Nebraska’s premiere bicycle event. The race features 4 different distances (28, 45, 65, and 100 miles). RQD showcases the natural beauty as well as many bits of local history as it follows portions of the Oregon Trail. Come join us on June 25th and challenge yourself on some premium Western NE gravel!
Platte River Basin Environments
There is a vast amount of public land to enjoy in our area. Platte River Basin Environments, Inc. (PRBE) is a 501 (c) (3) corporation formed by a group of sportsmen of western Nebraska, their goal is to preserve, conserve, enhance and restore vital wildlife habitat and natural areas within the North Platte River basin and adjacent drainages with a commitment to applying sound environmental science to determining projects to be undertaken, restoration work to be completed as, enhancements to be done, and areas to be conserved and preserved.

Wildcat Hills SRA
The Wildcat Hills State Recreation Area features several miles of mountain bike, horse, and hiking trails. This area contains landscapes not often thought of in Nebraska. Beautiful Pine covered ridges, hills, and canyons are overlook the plains and farmland south of the City of Gering.
